FAQ's

  • What is an in-home daycare?

I have opened up my home to the children in the Pearland area! I have converted the bedrooms and living room in my home to playrooms. My home is now filled with Melissa and Doug toys waiting to be played with by your child! We have a library, teaching wall, table toys, arts and crafts center, home center, salon center, and grocery store/check out center! There is a gate dividing the kitchen from the rest of the home for safety reasons. Children will sit at a bright and colorful picnic table in the dining room for lunch and snacks!

  • What is the difference between a licensed and registered in-home daycare?

The Kids on Park Ave. is a licensed in-home daycare! What is the difference between licensed and registered? Licensed means we are licensed through the state of Texas. We go through an application process, on-site inspection, complete an orientation class, and complete background checks. Licensed in-home daycares must have a certified director who meets the qualifications listed in the Minnimum Standards. The state is heavily involved in regulating a licensed in-home daycare through several surprise inspections throughout the year.

  • Why should I choose an in-home daycare VS. a daycare center?

In-home daycare's offer a more hands-on approach to quality care and education. Licensed in-home daycares in the state of Texas are allowed max. 12 children which makes it more hands on and intimate while still allowing your child to make friends and develop their social skills. In-home daycares also provide a loving home environment if your child is very cautious about being away from home. This would be a great step to take to prepare your child for big school!

  • Where is this daycare located?

For privacy reasons, my address is not available online. We are located in the pearland, 77581 area. To find out the address, give us a call or email us!

  • Will my child be safe in your home?

Yes! There is no one other than the owner (Abigial Jones) living in the house. There are currently no other employees other than the owner. Any new employee hired or frequent visitor must complete a background check before entering the home. The home is equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. The home is on a quiet and safe street.
